Allan Tongs Boat builders has been in business building custom composite and traditional luxury boats in Auckland, New Zealand since 1983.

We are a family owned business with Allan retiring in 2022 and son Nigel and wife Ester now at the helm. We have a great team of specialist, qualified boat builders and marine cabinet makers working from  a purpose built premises on Auckland North Shore. Members of the team have been involved in high profile composite builds, such as Volvo round-the-world race yachts and America's Cup yachts, bringing a broad skill-base and expertise.

We are proudly exclusively building The Elite AT43. This production (GRP Moulded)  initiative is a new 43-foot model designed to fit a 13.5m or 14m marina berth.

You will no doubt recognise the sleek lines and intelligent design of Elite Marine. When paired with the established quality and distinction of Allan Tongs Boatbuilders, the result is a boat designed and built in New Zealand with the care and precision of a custom, bespoke motor yacht but with a production boat price tag.
